CHECK AVAILABILITY

Contact us to check date availability for your booking. Our team will promptly respond and discuss all the event details with you.

SECURE YOUR DATE

When you're ready to move forward, we'll send you a questionnaire to collect all the essential details about your event. Using your answers, we'll generate an invoice and contract for your careful consideration. To confirm the date and time of your event, we kindly ask for a non-refundable retainer of $125 upon signing the contract.

PRIOR TO YOUR EVENT

To make your event truly unforgettable, I'll collaborate with you beforehand to discuss all the ways we can customize and personalize the screens, photos, layouts, add-ons, features, and more. Feel free to share any inspiration photos or ideas that will ensure every detail is tailored perfectly to match your unique event.

ON THE DAY OF YOUR EVENT

At Selene Photo Booth, we go the extra mile to make your event unforgettable. We arrive one hour prior to the start of your event for setup and take test shots to ensure picture-perfect quality. We'll even do a walk through with you before officially starting our service, guaranteeing a fantastic experience for you and your guests!

How the Universe Brought Me to You

My name is Sophia and I’m the owner of Selene Photo Booth. 

 

I’m originally from the Bay Area but I moved to LA in 2011 where I got married and started my little family with my husband Frank and my stepdaughter Emma.

 

Frank and I welcomed our little girl Francesca in November 2017 and we were ecstatic! What was supposed to be an amazing moment turned pretty tragic when a week later, my dad was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. He had a very short battle with glioblastoma before we lost him 3 months later. I had my son Luciano in 2020 mid covid, so we decided to move back to the bay for family help with our babies and to keep my widowed mom company. 

 

I’ve been in banking and loans since I was 18 and figured that it would obviously be my lifelong career. Once we settled back in the bay I planned to jump back into banking, but to our unplanned surprise, I got pregnant with my princess Catarina and realized there was no way i was going to leave 3 kids under 5 years old at home while I was in an office for over 50 hours a week. 

Why a Photo Booth business? Im always the photographer at get togethers and on a daily basis (my phone currently has like 20,000 pictures and videos) and after the loss of my dad, I realized im so happy i have all that because it's all i ended up having after my dad was gone - memories and photos. 

So i started this business hoping to make some extra cash while I considered a remote job and really just tried to figure my new life out. I quickly realized this was the perfect business for me and took it on full time! I get to be with my kids during the week which was my initial goal but it also holds a place in my heart to see families and friends celebrate beautiful moments while I get to capture them!

You just never know when one of those photos will end up meaning the world to someone.
